Vintage Friction Tin Fire Chief car with RARE Operational Wipers By TN Nomura (Japan)
from the early 1960′s. The model looks like a Ford Fairlane. Car is working. There are some small scratches and very small dings on the car from normal use. This car has wind shield wipers that operate with the friction motor. I have not seen many of these in my years of collecting. This is the second one that I have seen (other one for sale). The toy is in overall good condition. Length of toy is 9 inches. This toy would be a very nice additon to any vintage toy car collection.

Vintage Original Tin 60′s Ford Falcon with RARE wipers By Yonezawa (Japan). This car is approx. 9″ long, 3 3/4″ wide, and 2 1/2″ high. This rare model is equipped with 2 windshield wipers that move when the friction motor turns. They are out of adjustment and stick up instead of following the glass. The friction motor works well. This piece looks very nice, except for a few small scratches and a spot of rust showing by the right side window.

Model condition: B (as per table below) The car has really nice paint and other than the small rust spot and wipers needing adjusting it is a rare vehicle that will continue to grow in value.

Super Cool, vintage Tin Lithographed “Friction Car” Ford Stationwagon Ambulance (WITH EXTREMELY RARE STRETCHER) by Bandai (Japan) from 1955 in good working condition. Included with this 1955 Ford Ambulance “Friction-Toy” is the extremely rare “Cot or Stretcher” which is usually lost after being played with. Also, the back “plastic” window is damaged, but still “attached” another rare factor, as continued opening and closing of the tailgate often loosens the window. The front two (2) hubcaps are missing, but other than that it is complete and in excelent condition. It also has a “Siren Sound” as the friction drive mechanism is engaged (not currently working as well as it should. As seen in the picture above this car is listed in the 2005 “Specialist Price guide to Collectables” AAC Specialist Antiques Books for AU$280-$300 Without the original stretcher that ours has. GREAT CAR DISPLAYS WELL!

Model condition: C (as per table below) With the addition of hubcaps and easy repairs this HUGE Bandai car will be worth double the price.
